As a venture accelerator, our mission is to accelerate the commercialization lifecycle - to get innovative research out of the lab and into the marketplace. We take advantage of many resources in order to assess, enhance and realize the commercial potential of bioscience discoveries. We forge connections between and among local academia and industry to promote translational and commercially viable research, and now we have developed a tool that will ease and encourage this process.
About the Bioscience Technology Database
As part of our goal to facilitate research commercialization, we have developed a database that strives to encompass local ongoing research and commercialization in a forum that promotes collaboration of ideas and services among researchers, core labs, biotech companies and investors. In this way, the database incorporates an open innovation framework, supporting multiple channels for innovation in the research and clinical community.

How it works:
Following an interview with a university researcher, a team of interns creates a researcher profile containing information about past and current research interests, IP, grants and clinical trials. This profile is then searchable for other interested researchers or companies. Profiles are continuously monitored and periodically updated.
