Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center LSU Health Sciences Center - New Orleans has focused its energies along its four-part mission: Education, Research, Patient Care, and Community Outreach. The University of New Orleans Research at the University of New Orleans is continuing at a record pace. Currently, 45 researchers work in bioscience related areas at UNO and account for approximately $5 million in NIH funding in addition to $35 million of other sponsored program related revenue in areas such as Assisted Reproductive Biology, Conservation Biology, Population Genetics, Coastal Restoration, and Bio-nanotechnology. |
