Urinary BioSolutions LLC (UBS) is a medical device company focused on designing, patenting, and marketing a urinary positioning device that will change the way urinary incontinence (UI) is diagnosed and treated. The UBS “Smart Foley” platform was created by one of the UBS founders and gynecological surgeon and addresses the problem of stress urinary incontinence (SUI) in a truly novel way, mitigating the weaknesses associated with the current generation of clinically deployed Urodynamic devices. UBS has secured its IP position and has realized a functional prototype of their technology solution. UBS has procured management and regulatory consulting assistance in plotting a pathway towards FDA approval, most likely as a 510K-type medical device.
