GNOBEDD
The Greater New Orleans Biosciences Economic Development District (GNOBEDD) is a 1,500 acre region focused on the development of a life science industry in New Orleans. By partnering with local and national firms, GNOBEDD is linking private industry with government agencies to focus on tax incentives, workforce training, and research partnerships to enhance a company's work in our community.

Building BioInnovation
With the construction of the New Orleans BioInnovation Center in sight,  NOBIC will be making contacts and connections to ensure that the new Center plays a significant role in the biosciences on the world map.

New Orleans BioInnovation Center is going to BIO 2009 in Atlanta
NOBIC looks forward to participating in the International BIO conference to be held from May 18 - 21, 2009 in Atlanta, Georgia. New Orleans is becoming a greater presence in the biosciences community and we feel this annual event is a great way to display some of the exciting developments in our city. If you are attending the event, make sure to drop by our booth for some traditional coffee & chicory (and other New Orleans flavors) and to hear news on New Orleans and its BioInnovations. The Louisiana Booth is made possible by the continuing support of Louisiana Department of Economic Department (LED).
